About the Author
Samantha has wanted to be a writer as far back as she can remember. Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein were childhood favorites, soon followed by Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia, which ignited her love for fantasy.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Samantha is a midwestern girl at heart. She has also lived in South Carolina and Kentucky, and spent a month alone in Colorado—writing, reading and hiking.
Samantha has more hobbies than she can keep track of, including running, drawing, painting, crocheting, playing volleyball, and of course reading. She loves nonfiction just as much as fiction, and you can often find her reading a book about film or self-care. Her favorite hobby of all, though, is cuddling her adorable pit bull, Nathan.
